i was so lucky to be included in this year’s @digigirlzine.bsky.social and one of the digimon i was in charge of was Vegasmon this is like.. my favorite thing i’ve ever made….. everything is handmade and painted 👀

some thing i worry about with animals like dogs and rats is that im not naturally inclined to baby talk animals and i fear that its emotionally neglectful in some manner. so i consciously choose to speak to them but it just isnt something i constantly do when i see an animal the way others seem to

Sneak peek at a comic Theo Ellsworth is creating from a short story of mine, which is all about owls. I'll be doing an Oct. event at White Oak Books in Vancouver, Washington, to debut it. Some of the proceeds will go to a worthy charity / organization.

Two panels: Until the day the dog dug her bones up and scattered them all across the neighborhood - dog with bone in mouth on sidewalk confronted by surprised woman with grocery bag full of vegetables. If this seemed vindictive, he had his reasons - Dog on grass with skull in front of a bush while two people look on aghast.
