By now I spent over two years rebuilding Terminal Velocity purely from being able to read the files and play the game. I needed *zero* AI for this. Just my experience and skills. If you're doing something as a hobby and for the love of it, that's exactly where you are free of AI. *Why use it*?!

We do NOT have to accept or get over people using AI. AI is built on theft & abuse. It’s built to take jobs. It’s put in poor & BIPOC neighborhoods. NO AI.

Well, I've finally signed up to see a therapist again. This one has a waitlist because I wanted someone a bit more experienced who specializes in cPTSD, so it'll be about a month and a half before I can see him, but I hope he can help. I'm tired of being a mess and a drain on my friends.

A difference between them that really made sense to me is that PTSD tends to be focused on a particular trauma, whereas CPTSD pervades your entire self because it usually interrupted your entire development process. It’s in your whole personality.
Big Dyke Energy@azurebitch.bsky.social · 2y agoThe distinction between PTSD and CPTSD that clicked best with me was from Pete Walker's CPTSD book, where he delineated that a core difference is that PTSD feels like an external locus, an outside danger. CPTSD is PTSD that you *blame yourself for*. The call comes from inside the house.
I tried out Torment Hexus on stream today and ended up with the silliest build I've had so far. Red Tape is now a screen-wide nuke that cascades into free mana -> more debuffs -> more damage. This beat the final boss in 3 rounds.
