Debra Wilson is one of the best voice actors I have ever worked with. Loves the characters she plays. Loves the medium. Anyone complaining about her success is a clown.
its really annoying seeing people complain about Debra Wilson being in everything when Troy Baker is the same and its crickets…… black women make up less than 5% of the industry… complaining about us getting work is so silly

Ugh, YKW in the credits now. And did they get Les Claypool back for the new theme?! #SouthPark #SouthAmerica

New — I wrote about this weird thing where people within the Republican party keep being exposed as Nazis and the party then tries to claim each one is an aberration. The facts, as I lay out here, indicate otherwise:
Republicans don’t have a Nazi problem—they are the Nazi problem
A spate of recent revelations have shown the ideologies and their adherents are one and the same.

These little moments take all the teeth out of the "[tech] IS INEVITABLE" noise and help me settle because TECH DEBT IS ALSO UNDEFEATED 😆
HaJ3FgupAm8RrDJW3MHgT9X7Ft27eVaD What is that? That's a hard-coded API token that Flock cameras use to identify themselves and get OAuth credentials, which can then be used to talk to Flock's production servers. Like, anyone on the internet can probably do this right now.
I’m on a quiz show that only tapes 46 days a year and even I think this schedule is a little light.
House GOP leaders cancel votes on Thursday - sending lawmakers home later today until after the elections. That means the House can avoid a vote on the Hegseth impeachment plan from Rep. Thomas Massie R-KY.

It takes a special kind of Guy to look at all the circumstances of Brett Kavanaugh's career arc and reach the passive-voice conclusion that Kavanaugh "was forced" to join the Supreme Court's conservative wing. "I wrote the piece and Claude found the links relevant to my claims" is, even without the AI, such an admission of poor thinking and argumentation. your claims should emerge from the evidence!
Less shocking to me was reading this bit at the end, where Erickson - whose entire day-to-day job is just wanking out a bit of punditry once or twice a week - has handed much of that over to AI.
Update: House Republican leaders have cancelled the votes slated for Thursday, including the vote on Rep. Thomas Massie’s impeachment articles against Hegseth. This means that the body won’t reconvene until after the midterm elections.

The Republican lawmaker cited incidents like the US’s elementary school massacre in Minab, Iran, early in the war.

Do not let current events make Thrift Shop popular again. I do not want to go back to 2013, you do not want to hear Blurred Lines, Happy, Roar, Wrecking Ball, Radioactive, and Harlem Shake over and over again. Go away 2013. Do not return.
This is how ass backwards this administration is. There is bacteria in the soap.
I think this is correct, and I've been thinking a lot about what replaces all this stuff. If it is going away, you'd think the institutional players would have some idea of what might take its place. But they don't seem to have a vision for that, or any interest in it. It's private equity mindset.
Fun part about David Ellison destroying CBS News, 60 Minutes and his late-night show is that he'll never be able to get any of it back. You could argue that latter was heading toward obsolescence anyway, but the Weiss-ification of the news has led to a permanent erosion of trust.
Apologies for this hot take, but it seems like taking a partisan hack who's a complete dipshit with no experience in the field and making them the head of your network news division might *not* have been a brilliant idea?
Bari Weiss has plunged CBS News into ratings calamity. —"Evening News" has posted worst ratings of 21st century —"CBS Mornings" has posted worst ratings of 21st century —And now "60 Minutes" has posted worst ratings of 21st century More in @status.news: www.status.news/p/60-minutes...
