This actually happened to me. I was blocked by @michaelhobbes.bsky.social on the bad place, though I had never interacted with him. It got really annoying because people I follow retweeted him constantly. Ultimately, I sent him a super awkward email asking him to please unblock me, and he did!

The nuclear block should be paired with a feature where every month you can send a petition to one person asking to be unblocked. Like there’s one guy on here who has me blocked who I genuinely quite like, have no major disagreements with, and who talks to my friends a lot. It’s really inconvenient!

I don't have a book, but my wife does... or at least soon will. She sent the manuscript to her agent yesterday, so now it's in the hands of the publishing industry. It's a novel about the lives of two sisters in Bombay who follow very different paths in life. The novel spans four decades /contd.
