A new painting (by me) I can share for the game we are working on here at Gardens. I still can't say much, but things are moving along smoothly and I'm excited for you all to see it when it's ready. I really appreciate all the enthusiasm everyone has shared with me about the art we've shown so far.

A group of young adventurers approach a mysterious shrine where a sword emerges from a rock shrouded in mist. A key concept art painting by Andy Porter for Gardens Interactive's new game.

We're kicking off 2026 with a new website, a press kit, and a look back at the year just past which saw us running external playtests, hiking among the redwoods, and sleeping in racecar beds. Here's Gardens Interactive's 2025 Year in Review! 🐸 gardens.dev/blog/gardens...

we hosted a secret teahouse LAN party during Summer Game Fest this past weekend where we let a select group of folks play our still-unannounced debut game. it was so heartening to see the enthusiastic response to what we've been building!

an overhead shot of a warmly lit teahouse room full of people -- some sitting on the floor, some standing and chatting. concept art is projected onto gauzey fabric hanging from the ceiling. there are 4 PC demo stations on short tables on the floor and 2 more standing PC demo stations on the side. the footage on the screen is censored.a close-up shot of 4 people seated around a PC demo station. there are people standing and talking in the background next to a tea bar.

we're making a shared fantasy adventure game in which making stew is important. it takes a lot! in fact, you can never have too many cooks. help us cook!! we're hiring a Gameplay & Combat Designer! our remote studio offers competitive salaries, 35-hr work weeks & more 🐸 tinyurl.com/gardens-jobs...

in this concept art by Gardens art director @Phandy.bsky.social, three figures sit around a campire fire beneath huge, mossy stone statues. a red-cloaked character sits and sharpens their blade with a whetstone, and the other two (one wearing a blue wizard-like hat, the other in a hooded teal cloak) are collaborating over a pot of stew.

genuinely excited about what this studio is working on. if you're what they are looking for, I would urge you to apply phenomenal attitude about how games should be made, from the people making them to the people they are made for they're not kidding about the work/life balance stuff either!

it's a new genre and it's pronounced "gorp" (the second g is silent) if you pronounce it "jorp" like the gif guy i'm gonna ban u from the gorp
