There was a time when right-wing shitwits used to at least make some tiny effort to camouflage their xenophobia under the cover of a bit of "We should help our own" drivel. It appears they've even dropped that now. Just - "don't help anybody". And actually that's at least bit more honest.

I just knew we'd get this bollocks. Farage - like the Telegraph- doesn't want progress or anything to improve he just wants Britain to sit in a miserable slump in which he can holler constantly about "migrants" and drink pints in slow motion videos with people who pine for WW2.

Seen on Instagram. One is an epic story with Homeric parallels about a marginalised outsider making his way through an historic Dublin which has since all but vanished. The other is a big old book by James Joyce.

The Telegraph are determined to make this a right vs left debate. It isn't. It's about who should own our press: a few billionaires, or a genuinely diverse range of organisations - including plenty who disagree with me? Actual media pluralism & a free press.

No psychiatrist or psychologist with ethics would assess a person without meeting them. And if they did, their ethics would mean their assessment should stay confidential.

"I've become what I beheld & I'm content I have done right." 'The Untouchables' is on BBC1 at 22.40. It's a movie I'd guess was directed by Martin Scorsese, if I was aware of both directors, but hadn't seen this before. I'd make the same mistake about Brian De Palma directing 'Cape Fear' (1991).

Just a thought, but is it perhaps time for a responsible news media to stop reporting the dribbling arseblurts of these fools? Seriously, this is on a par with “Bloke down the pub says it’s a well-known fact that there’s no actual evidence that smoking is bad for you.”
