Managed to hunt down two photos of the kitbashed model built by Jim Bowers as reference for the original WipEout game, sometime around 1993 or 1994. You can see the logos on it are harvested from other kits- Toyota and Buick logos, USAF roundels, and more that I'm sure someone else could ID

And so, the inevitability arrived. The source code for "F-STOP", aka "Aperture", the iteration of Portal 2 developed during 2008, leaked in it's entirety. This leak also contains the code from some other Directed Design Experiments, being 'Margharita' and '2 Bots 1 Wrench'.

And to cap off - this code is actually seemingly dated during the brief 'Hybrid Era' of development, when F-STOP slowly morphed into Portal 2 proper. Here is the original Hover Turret code running ingame - it is an actual hovering Turret. (Video taken by theaperturecat on the Project 2008 Team)
