I just woke up and the first thing I learn is that we're getting rocked by a tropical storm tomorrow. Lol

Tim Curry's reading of the Sabriel series is probably my favorite audiobook? Most libraries will have it available, I think! He had wonderful material to work with (I really like this series), and his reading really transported me.

Seriously, DON’T draw every day. That’s how I developed a repetitive strain injury and had to take an extended break from drawing for months while it healed. That was over a decade ago and it STILL gives me trouble if I draw for a few hours without taking a break. Please, please take breaks 😭

"You have to draw every day if you want to make it" is tired, burnout-inducing, elitist advice and if I hear it again Im going to start giving out demerits. Draw when you can, when you have motivation, and if your intent is to improve always try to attach one goal to your drawing to focus on.

people get intimidated by the social belief of "supporting the arts" as like donating $5,000,000 for a new wing at a museum or hosting some gala it's not. 10% of our audience throwing us $1.00 a month would literally be *life-changing* money most artists are in the same boat.

our "patreon" is here: no exclusive content or anything. we don't believe in hiding art behind a paywall. and the model is set up you can cash it in for free stuff if you want to fully offset the subscription cost just a way to show consistent support artbymox-shop.fourthwall.com/supporters/p...

a screenshot of pricing tiers for our donation subscriptions starting at $1 a month. details can be found through the link in this post
