Things I learned: The skin cancer I developed is CUMULATIVE apparently; years of not wearing sunscreen got me - so now I slap a bunch of sunscreen on everywhere. Take care of your skin, wear sunscreen - yes, even with winter coming. UV rays are not seasonal!!!

The thing I think I love most about Metroid Ravenous hype is all the Samus Kirby art, they're just both so hungry.

We made a free shader series, Your First Shader from ZERO in Godot 4: gdquest.com/library/firs... You will create an animated portal step by step and learn reusable techniques like drawing procedural shapes, create masks, use smoothstep() to control transitions, draw gradients, animate, and more.

now that all the ui elements have dynamic color palettes, i'm able to use that to implement a nice reactive mouse hover effect. which palette is used for the default vs the hover is all data-driven and eventually will be configurable in the settings. #gamedev #screenshotsaturday
