making RPGs may seem really difficult, but don't give up. taking a game from an idea to a finished product can involve so many hours writing, editing, testing, learning new skills, iterating on your work over and over again... but never lose sight of the big payoff: your game might just net you $300

I’ve never used GenAI “help bot” things, but saw a video of a guy using one and the amount it just goes “that’s a great question!” was nauseating. Also makes so much sense why a certain type of person loves them.

I got to have a great conversation with my dad today. About life and death and loss and joy. A bit melancholy but the kind of talk that is good for the soul.
