If I could eat anything I wanted for breakfast with no health consequences it would be two bowls of frosted shredded wheats from those big fuckoff bags they sell. Just like, add oat milk and try to eat them while they still have some crunch

If you want to give an inspiring speech, you don’t do a cadence through the whole thing of someone perpetually just about to launch into a human interest story on a morning news show. Don’t make your declarative sentences end on an up pitch

Omigod, this is the most heartwarming story possible! Backpack (bear 89) is the son of the 2019 winner of Fat Bear Week, Holly (bear 435). In 2007, he injured his foot & a practice of riding on momma's Holly's back had a new meaning: he was mobility-restricted while it healed. So Holly moved him.

From DISCVR blog's Facebook page, a momma bear & a yearling cub on her back in the shallow water. I think the background has been swapped out, and I can't rule out some AI use there? God, Facebook has become the social media for AI slop : (

Meet Backpack, your 2026 Fat Bear Week champion. Backpack is 20 years old, weighs about 1,000 pounds and got his nickname because, as a cub, he loved riding on his mom's back across the Brooks River.

Got to sit on the sidewalk eating a cone of soft serve with the chocolate hard shell dip.....the endless cycle of death and rebirth ain't all suffering

Hate the fact that polygon is now a site run by a corporation who thinks it’s controversial that a talented, experienced trans person got hired for a video game. It used to have good reviews and articles that were bad in acceptable ways. Also my work laptop doesn’t ban the site.

I think a lot of the issue I have is that I assumed in situations where gov heads would announce something that would be disastrous for health insurance companies (kicking healthy people off who just pay for a service and don’t use it), I’d have thought a lobbyist would talk them out of it. Not so!
