Everyone who could have a cast a vote against pedocon fascism but didn't will have to live with that for the rest of their lives. No amount of online cope will wash this stain off your soul.

Trump has dismantled a hundred years worth of environmental protections and the Sunrise Movement's banner image in August 2026 is a photo of them protesting Kamala Harris.

It's funny how that thing about the US military merging with Israel just...went away. Last week, everyone on Bluesky was absolutely hair-on-fire. OMG! This horrible awful world-ending thing is eminently happening! Fuck Israel and Democrats! What happened, guys? Did the bots get new talking points?

Virtually EVERY SINGLE time someone says, "Dems haven't done X," a simple Google search will show that, in fact they did, and the speaker was just too lazy to check. Yes, communication is broken. That's a two-way street, always, especially now.

A prominent, large-follower account & recent candidate for federal office willfully inciting a bad-faith dogpile on someone for the sake of drawing attention to her fundraiser is *gross*, just incredible noxious behavior that should result in a ban.

Politics aside, do people believe city-run grocery stores with deeply discounted prices are a good POLICY idea? What are they intended to accomplish, in your view? What problem do they solve? Would you implement them if not running for election? I'm sincerely curious in people's answers here.

sorry for taking the bait, but if you like feeding people you should check out (and maybe donate a couple bucks!) to my organization Kapow which is integrating mutual aid + direct action in campaigns across the country :)

I have a guess as to why Mamdani's not putting his city-run grocery stores in food deserts. My guess is that it's because those areas are dangerous and not the best environment to showcase a pilot program.

It would be very easy for people to respond to Stancil by saying "I think it's worth trying no matter what, maybe his concerns are going to be proven right, but I hope not, and even if they are then it was worth a shot." But instead, it's "why does Stancil hate hungry people" bad faith bullshit
