NEW: It was a digital lynching. And the media is never going to hold itself to account for the role it played in Jason Arday’s death. But there are things we can do. This is a practical guide based on my own experience. broligarchy.substack.com/p/a-digital-...

Between Jason Arday and Hadyn, I’m feeling monumentally bleak about the state of everything.
A spider the size of my face just ambled across my lounge floor and this is not what I need right now.
I’ve also had one of those ‘I fucking knew it’ moments professionally this weekend. Feeling vindicated and absolutely horrified alongside the worry and stress of living life between home and hospital bed.
My now-familiar post to say that we should all be profoundly grateful for the NHS but also to say that the view from Addenbrookes is not half bad but would be hugely improved with air-conditioning.
This is the coverage of Arday **just in the Telegraph** in the UK. This is only the first four pages of results, just in one outlet.
Not only is the uk's media completely ungovernable and free to target anyone they please, true or not, they also refuse to report on the wrongs of a major section of society that is tearing it apart. As I've said for years, until the UK media changes, nothing else will.
So, so, grim. Impossible for anyone to cope with such a hostile response from so many rushing to condemn. metro.co.uk/2026/08/14/f...
Former Cambridge University academic Jason Arday found dead at home
He resigned last week amid plagiarism allegations.

I think what's most damning is that this media frenzy happened because it is august, and there is no news, and the journos were bored and this looked exciting. And now a man is dead and they'll all go "yes, very sad" then blame the universities as a concept before fucking off to party conferences
Nothing you do in your entire life will ever be this embarrassing
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahhaahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha
Badenoch would use it because she got emailed a chain letter that told her if she didn't copy and paste it to all her contacts, Bloody Mary would crawl out of her phone and get her at midnight
Ed Davey would use it gleefully to announce it's pints o'clock
Ok but seriously for a moment. There are lots of people complaining about the alert and turning their alerts off now because this doesn't seem serious. Let me tell you, as an Australian I know very well how serious fires can be in this weather, and how quickly they can spread. Please, take heed.
The country is on fire. Glad somebody has noticed, tbh.
Phew, that’s a relief. I thought it was going to say Farage had gone on a rampage.
Reform UK bus exiting via the A14 this morning. Nobody on board.
When you are on an NHS waiting list to get your cancer/heart/illness diagnosis, remember that billionaire JK Rowling has opened up a pot of money using her Harry Potter money to sue them. Oh and the pot is open to sue human rights organisations too.
I am at home. My sister is here. Our mum is in hospital. So we are subjecting our father and spouses to the best film ever.
I post this every time I have to spend time in a hospital but fuck every single Reform/Restore cunt who is talking about sending anyone ‘home’. The people who care for us when we need it *are* home.
'So we've heard the concerns of the Jewish community about standing a convicted neo-Nazi anti-semite as a local candidate and decided to give him a national job instead...'
The state of this. A lovely day out for Badenoch and Philp, playing dress up and making pronouncements about early release schemes - having left the country with one hundred available men's prison places, after fourteen years in charge. You read that right. One hundred places.
We are home. I am without a porch and only have my souvenir from Rye to cheer me…
