You don’t have to worry about trans women in sports. You do have to worry about trans women in your walls, eating a big crumb as a whole meal off a table they made out of a wooden spool, and taking baths in a bottle cap

I am begging you not to believe gazillionaire baseball owners when they tell you Skubal going to the Dodgers means we need a salary cap. Competitive balance is not the reason they want a salary cap. They just want to spend less, and with more predictability, on total payroll. That is all.
Gausman has been my favourite for years. I was so excited that he signed with Toronto and was a delight to watch. Sigh.
How many more years of sex scandals will it take to no longer have leto ruining movies?
Him being an abuser has been so well known for so long that it’s shocking he still gets work (that’s showbiz baby). Heartbreaking for the victims of his abuse, may he finally be cast out of society once and for all.

Carbon pricing not only lowered emissions it gave more money back to the majority of people, especially to the poorest Canadians. Shame on all the cynical politicians who repeated lies about it. www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/pe...
The very same industries sold methane (aka 'Natural gas') as a "transition fuel" that helps address climate change. And that lie has been adopted by policy makers around the globe.

The companies knew they were releasing more of the greenhouse gas than they publicly reported, according to industry files cited by the Center for Climate Integrity, an activist organization.

Thanks to Canadian @shiventaneja.bsky.social for developing these instructions. The CR Box has a high clean air delivery rate for particles in the size ranges of wildfire smoke & should remove a large amount of heavier organic gas-phase components. All at a fraction of cost of other air cleaners.
Here’s instructions on building your own Corsi-Rosenthal box.

Mark Carney's made deep cuts to Natural Resources Canada that strip away science-based expertise on forest fires, "decimating capacity" to track wildfire activity. Only one forest pathologist now monitors the entire forestry system east of the Rockies. 5/ www.nationalobserver.com/2025/12/05/n...
The problem I have with the term "climate change mitigation" is that it sounds like some solar panels will stop it. Maybe a heat pump or two. This is broadly how politicians use it. "We gave the yacht club $300k for solar panels! Consider yourself mitigated, climate change!"
Thanks for the post, @thefreeradical.org. #CRBoxes are proven through a significant number of research studies and real world applications. Glad it is doing the job for you! Filming an updated video next week and will post when complete.

This isn't the first time someone's pointed out that AI is an easy-sell because white people (in particular) still want to be able to enslave others. It's a very persuasive argument, especially when you listen to how AI users frame the "benefits" of usage.
But the biggest difference between a machine and a person is *moral consideration*. A person deserves and demands moral consideration: for their wellbeing, their feelings, even their bladders. A machine gets none of this: you can curse it, kick it, snap out orders without please or thank you. 12/

Trying to watch Cape Fear on Apple TV. What an absolute mess of a show. Feels like it could have made a decent movie , though.
I love a lot of Sam Neil movies. One I think about often is "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" It's a gem. Highly recommend.

Loved that canada goal. It was almost as good as the woman dropping her phone doing the wave shown in slow motion.
What a great nuanced overview! This shows the incredible value of lived experience in policy development.
