Just your average guy in central indiana trying to get by. Host/GM of the podcast Mobile Suit Gundam | REDUX. I also play/build guitars https://brianhoover.neocities.org/

I think generally a lot of people have no idea what backend software for important places can actually look like and honestly, it's a TRIP. We used to use a bastardised JIRA to manage car magazine ads when I worked at a magazine company. I have Seen Some Interfaces.

This is not a joke. This is a screenshot of the actual case management software used by Massachusetts' 11 District Attorneys. Must-read work here by @nasser.wiki nasser.blog/dial-up-just...

I am not joking: this is AOL era software. It's got clip art. IDK how it even works on modern computers

I disagree with him about we shouldn't be able to expect government provided quality burritos. I bet with a small increase of like $10-$20 a year per person we could easily have a welfare burrito state Making it quality is more technique than ingredients in my experience making burritos

Absolutely incredible way to respond to a TPUSA college kid who said the price of a Chipotle burrito is too high. No notes from me. Hard to understand how the media company this guy leads could possibly be hemorrhaging subscribers!

Ben Shapiro tweet: “I hear that young people are upset about $20 burritos. Okay, young people: a burrito does not cost $20. If you’re paying $20 for a burrito and you’re not independently wealthy, you’re doing life wrong. We have enough problems as a country without insane expectations that the government is going to provide us gourmet-quality burritos.”

The real dog shit about indus valley fried chicken is, you can't get any decent sides. Like you can't get fries! Maybe some flat bread dippers? A roll maybe? I think you could wrangle together coleslaw of a sort, but no mashed potatoes or fried for like...fuck 5000 years?

Well, I guess a clay jar of chicken..... Don't ya hate waiting on the new hires to write out your order on a tablet with their little fuckin reed? And then your order comes up and you pay your handful of soapstone carvings in barter and they give you tangy garlic instead of spice red pepper?

I bet you could push it a LITTLE further back if you weren't a stickler for the oil used, but damn, to imagine people in the indus valley civilization could go get a bucket of fried chicken after a long day at work? They just like me for real
