I love cats and hate cops! He/him

What's up youtube it's ya boy Too Big Game Complainer and today we're complaining about how Shadow of Mordor, a game from *2014*, is *88 fucking gigabytes* in size. You guys know what I'm gonna say! "That's Too Big!™"

If anyone uses Stripe to get payments, go to your Settings (Gear icon) > Plans and Fees > Radar (View plan details) > View Plans > Scroll to "More Options" and select "Lite" I want none of the money I earn to go to AI if I can help it.

nice, now Stripe is auto-opting people into a nickel charge per transaction for "AI-enhanced" protection shit they never asked for you can change it back to their free "Lite" version, but the fact that it's opt-out by default is so fucking annoying

If you can't come out right now, please don't hate yourself. One day, the meaning of labels will disappear. Please love yourself as you are. The one who can cherish yourself the most is yourself. Because that is your strength and beauty. Chiitan loves you

Jeopardy host Ken Jennings is such a smug, condescending prick of an "ally" to trans folks that actual dedicated, open transphobes can take today off. He's got it covered

"The book was better" was all over the place around Jurassic Park for some reason when that movie came out. Enough that I was hearing it constantly even as a kid. Which is wild! I'm sure the book is fine, I wouldn't know personally, but the movie's one of the greatest summer blockbusters of all time

“the movie is never as good as the book” is thought-terminating nonsense that people say when they want to feel smart. it’s easily disproven, there are a lot of notable examples where that’s not the case, unless you really think Starship Troopers is a better book than movie lmao

Replaying Kunitsu-Gami and I'm pretty sure the RE in RE Engine stands for Really Efficient, because even on a middle-of-the-road machine, this game looks faaantastic (Also Kunitsu-Gami is a phenomenal game and you should play it if you haven't)

Probably my most heterodox video game opinion is that I don't think Red Dead Redemption II is a good or even a well-made game Like, more people inexplicably take that one personally than me saying MGS and FFVII are overrated, or that MMO narratives inherently can't be anything but cornball bullshit

Interesting that almost all analysis of Xbox in freefall completely ignores an organized boycott intended to harm the company financially. Meanwhile, multiple news stories on the home page all month about PlayStation boycotts that haven't even happened yet.

Game Pass was supposed to be the all-you-can-play subscription service that put Xbox on top after a disastrous generation. Instead, it's a failure that's threatening to ruin the company. https://bit.ly/4pIIUau

It's wild how you can say something that seems so anodyne like "things are not as important as people" and one thousand evil clowns will bubble up out of the muck to be like "not MY things!!!"

If you have new parent friends please let them know car seats have an expiration date. I see people giving them away online and the sentiment's nice and all but the plastic gets brittle eventually rendering them unsafe in a crash. They're also single use w/r/t crashes for basically the same reason.

I'm late to the party on Cyberpunk 2077 but the title card dropping almost 6 hours in is insane Like I don't even think it works but I have to respect the swing

I feel like every importer that's not bringing Cerveza Cristal stateside is willingly and, I'll say it, maliciously leaving money on the table It's an attack on Very Online People who want to drink what's probably a totally fine if nothing special beer and chuckle quietly to themselves about it

@mistericarus.bsky.social played a mod of Doom which adds Cerveza Cristal ads during gameplay. youtube.com/shorts/SLKlD...

the only lesson learned from the george floyd uprisings is that the cops can do whatever they want with impunity and no amount of unrest in the streets will move the needle for politicians who, at the end of the day, are bought out or being held hostage by police unions. this HAS to change.

I get saying Mamdani should have Netanyahu arrested, I do, but I think the thing a lot of people are missing is that if he tells the pigs to do something and they don't do it, he loses credibility with all the normal non-lefty people who only voted for him because somebody nice knocked on their door
