After a few days to reflect, I think my biggest takeaway from GenCon is that I want to play more new games with more new people. I’m still buzzing over games and conversations that expanded how I think about design and play If you’ve got a weird little game and a seat at your table, hit me tf up

God I fucking hate the bar exam. It's expensive. It's massively stressful. It's a huge time commitment (anyone who honestly says you can work and study is selling something), which means it's automatically going to be more accessible for people with money. And every year there's some massive fuckup.

Getting passed by another 8. Bus driver finally giving up and pulling into the left lane to get up to Fairview. These bus lanes can't come soon enough.

Long-awaited upgrades to one of the city's busiest bus corridors are just a few days away, with SDOT set to permanently close the often-clogged slip lane onto Yale Avenue on August 1. A full eastbound bus lane will be installed by the end of August.
