Here until I’m not.

My first stand up special The Darkest Hour is released today Friday 7/31 at 5pm on YouTube. As befits a man of my age, I’m celebrating by getting a colonoscopy this morning. Please join me for one of those things. You can pick.

Some BBC impartiality on Burnham here Going for the triple attack of ‘dastardly, incompetent and uncool’ But if you add a question mark, it’s ‘just asking questions’, which as we all know, makes the words you use completely neutral.

NEW Stewart Lee column Stewart Lee on Nigel Farage vs Count Binface “A comedy writer with a refuse receptacle on his head may be the only thing that stands between Britain and fascism. He’s just the man for the job”

Move over, Nigel – it’s time for the Bin Supremacy: Stewart Lee on the Clacton byelection. Pink tinted image of Count Binface striking ‘peace’ signs

I'm posting this video every day so we NEVER forget what insurrectionist Donald Trump did on J6 Instead of accepting defeat and honoring the peaceful transfer of power, Trump unleashed a deadly mob on the U.S. Capitol in a last-ditch attempt to stay in power THIS is what an insurrection looks like

Just heard BBC analyst, re Starmer, reference the Clash song: 'he's got a dilemma: if he goes there will be trouble, if he stays it will be double.' I would like to stress again that this famous lyric is NOT much of a dilemma; you should take the path which causes half as much trouble. Thank you.

Well done @itvnews.bsky.social for tonight’s headline order. 1) American salesman’s penis extension blows up, 2) asylum seeker commits a crime 3) leader of opposition party, favourite to be PM, is reported to police about his claim of Russian hacking leak re the £5m gift from a crypto billionaire.

Now we’re at the point where any post or video on socials is debated as either staged, misinformation, bots, rage bait, AI slop or foreign interference, maybe it’s just time to switch them all off.

Considering how much Americans love the 2nd amendment, and how much we see of their love for guns, sadly none of them can seem to shoot straight.

This again, I think. The subscription numbers are creeping up. The actual DOWNLOAD numbers are climbing for each new episode, which is thrilling. But if people subscribe it's even better. You can always unsubscribe if you come to hate it. Hell, you can always throw your phone into a sewer.

By the way, if you get the podcast on a platform where it is possible to subscribe, and you haven't already, that would really help, thank you! Same with reviews. I'D HATE TO HAVE TO MURDER YOU. No. We agreed we wouldn't go with that angle.

Time I mentioned this pod again because I've had quite a lot of new followers as people flee the burning wreckage of 'X'. Some of you would really like it and it's the perfect time to catch up, as it doesn't return until the 25th* *how can I know if it's a perfect time for you? Podcasts (1/3)

Episode six will be out tomorrow, after which there's a two-week break (25 eps in total). It has been lovely how people have responded to this. You might like it: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/m...

Quite a few people did try this last night, which is really gratifying. If you like any of the other things I have done on this earth, you might well enjoy it. They're only 30 minutes. And there's now a fortnight gap so this is EASY CATCH-UP TERRITORY.

Ah, it’s that time of year again. The Daily Mail publishing bullshit about Christmas being banned due to woke, in a transparent attempt to enrage the gammon faced flag shaggers. It’s almost like a tradition at this point.
