I've realized that over the course of the next few months, I need to make sure that the people in my life who might consider voting for this know that if my daughter has to start getting genital exams to swim and play ultimate with her friends, I will not let it go and I will not forgive them.

It's a good point. This is exactly the kind of low-effort OT that SPD officers live for. Surely at least one of them would be willing to pass up OT work on serious crime to stand around and do this instead.

10 trans athletes in the NCAA out of, according to the NCAA, 554,298 student athletes. That is 0.0018%. How small is that? That's one person sitting in a full Yankee Stadium. Two words of a 300 page book. Less than 10 minutes of a year. It is ALL BAD FAITH mixing with willful blindness.

All of this time, money, and effort regarding removing trans people from sports is wholly rooted in bigotry (10 trans athletes in NCAA, estimates of national K12 is less than 100) and was astroturfed, and anyone falling for it are not acting in "good faith" imo.

That is too bad. It was nothing like what I expected and I really enjoyed it. I would've been more excited about Wonder Man Season 2 than I am about Avengers: Doomsday, honestly. Taking the time to develop two good characters > another big movie overstuffed with little cameos.

agreed. At a minimum should be a requirement for promotions. Last I checked, Seattle has one of the lowest percentages among major cities (12%) of police officers living in the city. It creates an occupation mentality.

It takes a shocking level of ignorance to not understand why so many people born after 1980 crave social democratic policies that we don’t have now. Our Boomer and GenX parents had the cushion to make mistakes and take chances that we have never had.

Barnes makes around $370,000 a year. He has repeatedly been out of town, at events in other cities or at his family home in Chicago, during emergencies like today’s mass shootimg.

We do a lot more coupon clipping and buying generic these days. The kids aren't getting any smaller and we still eat at home the vast majority of the time because it's the healthier option, but the margin by which it's cheaper than eating out has narrowed.
