I have been looking at ironing boards because the asbestos of mine disintegrated & the new iron-stand I bought is not satisfactory so if the one you mentioned has a sensible place to put the iron I would be interested in buying it.

It relied on dispatch riders to communicate with the armies. French tanks didn't have radios and were commanded using signal flags from the command tank.

I genuinely don't understand how so many intelligent people seem to have missed this. It's so obviously worse that someone was apparently more than capable of empathy and kindness, yet chose to be publicly vile, continually and exclusively targeting marginalised and at-risk communities, for money.

this whole push re: what if ADHD isnt actually a medical condition and instead of medicating it as such we put everyone into tough 19th century schoolhouses is basically the same approach as the gov trying to get transness out of schools which isnt surprising bc its all the same people pushing it
