2am earthquake just to make sure everyone starts Melbourne Games Week already sleep deprived.

I’m super excited to be singing one of my favourite scores again :D

I’m trying milk alternatives this week. Oat milk gets a pass, even though it tastes a bit like nutrigrain. Almond milk does not spark joy.

The Moonlighter 2 soundtrack is out now! I contributed some additional music (on the track Podium Dictator). Congrats @christopherlarkin.bsky.social @nathancummins.au and everyone on the release :D

What's the charge?

I enjoyed Spider-Man: Brand New Day as the director intended, in Screen X and with the sound of The Odyssey rumbling in from the next cinema over during the quiet moments.

Film you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel, Disney, or Ghibli.

"Pokemon" is short for "pocket monsters". "Digimon" is short for "digital monsters". Therefore, "salmon" is short for "saltwater monsters". (You might object: salmon spend a big part of their life in freshwater. But pokemon spend a big part of their life outside pockets too!)

New music! This one was originally planned for a fanmade FFXIV romance visual novel, but seeing as the project has been on hiatus for about a year I decided it was time to finish and release it! Full video: youtu.be/6phYSDFFlSM #FFXIV #ff14 #finalfantasyxiv

It's Queensland Games Fest again this weekend! I'm not doing the Lightning Talks this year, but I thought I might share a bit of my talk from last year

Sad news - those beautiful arrangements are such a special part of the Tull sound on those albums she worked on.

RIP Dee Palmer. An active life for 88 years, though best remembered for Jethro Tull.

The backrooms are totally real and they're made from endlessly twisting fitted bedsheets.

I like how his ship is the same shape as his hat. #StarWars #TheMandalorianAndGrogu

Watched the Mandolorian and Grogu for the second time tonight - *such* a fun movie. My favourite character is the trumpet fanfare that plays right at the end of the film. #starwars #themandalorianandgrogu

4 years ago in the Telltale Games Alumni FB group, Michael Parsons was asking if anyone had advice for helping his 15 year old son Kane achieve his dreams of being a filmmaker. Turned out alright.

I love you too Robocop (1987)

Ewww my tv did a firmware update and now it has AI. My tv does not need AI.

I enjoyed this hit of early 2000s nostalgia when updating iLok license manager

Of course the ABC is running this publicity for the far right. Has any news media ever run the equivalent, teary “why I’m leaving for an actual left wing party” article or does this just go one way?
