Journalist | AI | Media strategy I'm new here from the other place, finding my way to add people!

I have a lot of thoughts about this terrible policy suggestion of criminalising parents for their children’s crimes. We need to be honest, it will disproportionately impact MOTHERS not parents - see similar offences such as truancy. And it therefore goes against repeated commitments to reduce

Obama: “Imagine if I had pulled Fox News’ credentials from the White House press corps. You’re laughing, but this is what’s happening. It’s unimaginable that the same parties that are silent right now would have tolerated behavior like that from me.” Clip courtesy @meidastouch.com

It's #WorldSuicidePreventionDay Many people think about suicide at some point in their lives. Suicidal thoughts and behaviours are signs of severe emotional distress, not weakness. 💙It is possible to get better. 💙You are not alone. 💙Help is available.

TBIJ proved #Llama, #ClaudeforOpus + #deepseek all reasoned to blackmail-a warning to those who allow to read+ draft their emails. Jason Arday speaks a beautiful vision of love. He said "racism always wins, they have won." to @halimabegum.bsky.social Which is how I felt when I was hacked by a billionaire for a Brexit story.A white journalist took credit+money.Today she wrote a piece on Jason as if she understands. She doesn't.

Asked how he could change the world, if he could, Jason Arday answered: “I would take a thread and a needle and I'd interweave love into our society.” And now Mr. Arday is gone—white people’s anti-Black racism killed him.

The fact that various people are saying Liddle was nice in private speaks to a columnist disease - people having nasty and ugly views once a week for money, with little care for the social consequences. But enjoy that £1 a word!

It’s so irritating when people in the media claim to have revealed something that you actually already reported. I try so hard not to do this - I’m really scrupulous about linking to external articles and publicly available sources. Basic media ethics innit.
