I have one million thoughts on Zero Parades For Dead Spies Compared to Disco Elysium, it's more grounded while also being more ambitious. It's less funny and fantastical and less suffused with haunting sadness, but in exchange it's sharper and meaner and tighter. Unpolished masterpiece afaic

Kamiina Botan #04 makes excellent use of 間ma, negative space. While the script has uncharacteristically (for anime) frequent and long silence, the storyboard focuses heavily on characters appearing vivisected, bifurcated or narrowly framed in dozens of shots.

Gin-san, who key animated Kamiina Botan el 03, also did episode 4 of the delightful mono (manga by the same author as Yuru Camp) and his sketchy wobbly style was in full display there too

The JP title "Kamiina Botan Her Drunken Figure Is Like A Lily Flower" plays on Botan (Peony), lilies (yuri) symbolizing lesbianism and a proverb comparing female beauty to flowers: 立てば芍薬、座れば牡丹、歩く姿は百合の花 (stand tall like a peony, sit elegantly like a tree peony, walk gracefully like a white lily)
