In this day and age, internet and phone are SO important to being able to access services, care and to not be isolated. Also, food and meds are important.

residuals for devs really special in that it’s kinda the single issue you can spotlight that basically chain combos into every other shitty labor issue in gamedev why shouldn’t we get residuals?

Part of the trauma I will probably not have time to unpack until my 80s (if I make it there) was long covid slowly killing me a little more each time I got sick, but having no real way to avoid it because I'm married to a middle school teacher and "fuck them teacher spouses" is bipartisan.
