It’s fucking gross to mock Cori Bush for "the Capitol steps with her Cheez-Its." She was sleeping outside the Capitol to pressure Congress and Biden to extend the COVID eviction moratorium after it expired, protecting millions of renters from eviction. Bush herself had experienced homelessness.
I wanted to believe, but honestly didn’t have much faith in Cori regaining her seat knowing the onslaught of ads in the county misconstruing her record in congress. Sucks, but all that shitty AIPAC money really made the difference. Brutal.
