We see a version of this in the academy some: women who had to come up professionally in difficult circumstances because of their gender and their male colleagues generally being intolerant can turn around and make life as hard as possible for younger female colleagues because why shouldn’t… 1/2

"Darline Graham’s vision, it seems, holds that because her own parents worked so hard, couldn’t take sick days, and died untimely deaths, others shouldn’t expect anything different."
