What is scary is that people are praising Pirro for not prosecuting him. He was never guilty and if they did proper investigation it would be obvious, but they were willing to abuse their powers for Trump administration. That could happen to anyone, and they are willing to lie to prosecute people 🙄

E-bikes give people affordable, clean transportation. If kids are getting hit by pickup trucks, the answer isn’t to treat e-bikes like the problem; it’s protected bike lanes, safer crossings, lower traffic speeds, and infrastructure that keeps everyone separated from multi-ton vehicles.

I love Talarico and hope he wins. But he’s already raised $70M On the flipside, control of critical state legislatures will come down to seats where candidates raise 0.1% of that. I’ve researched the highest leverage swing district candidates you should donate to secure.actblue.com/donate/donat...

These are anti-MAGA state candidates in *extremely* close races

🚨 NEW: A $121,617 home renovation invoice used by Ken Paxton’s defense during his impeachment trial was dated September 1, 2020. But the file’s metadata shows it was actually created a month later, on a VERY significant date. We obtained the invoice. Here’s what we found:

Great essay by @parkermolloy.com and an excellent point about how Mulvaney has responded to attacks by some of the world’s most unhinged bigots with grace and strength. May they both continue to thrive and may the rest of us do a better job of supporting them & other trans folks.

Dylan Mulvaney's response to Trump's recent attacks on her at the WHCD is worth watching. www.readtpa.com/p/the-punchl...

🚨 The Department of Energy admitted that Russell Vought cancelled hundreds of grants in October 2025 "based solely on the political identity of the grant recipient's state." It is long overdue—Democrats MUST move to impeach Vought, and Blue State Republicans need to answer for their complicity.

Trump Administration Admits Canceling Grants to States That Did Not Vote for Him

Federal officials said in court documents that they halted billions of dollars in funding for energy projects to states “based solely” on whether they backed President Trump in the 2024 election.

My takeaway from that speech is that we are headed down the road of Trump trying to outright rig elections. It probably won't work, but he's going for it.

one of the most exciting housing stories in cville right now (imo) is the redevelopment of the public housing stock in collaboration with the residents. they look great.

💯 Everything is a result of POLICY (including not having one or ignoring the problem). Policy creates structure and minimizes social friction. It makes things possible. It makes things happen. It improves people’s lives. Taking a position is a first step. Policy is necessary to make a difference.

Asking people to understand that American dominance in women's soccer is a byproduct of Title IX, which helped foster high-level women's sports in this coontry, in stark contrast to most of the reat of the world. It's a systemic, structural thing we should be proud of.

This is (one of) the problem(s) with this type of low-level corruption. Even if the U.S. wins - and as my coach dad used to say, take every advantage the give you (give is important there) - the win will have an asterisk. This is now an asterisk World Cup for the U.S. Men’s Team.

Trump personally called FIFA president Infantino asking him to review a US player’s red card suspension. FIFA reversed it a day later — first time in 60+ years of World Cup play. Balogun starts tonight vs. Belgium. A #SheShed 🧵

I don’t know quite how to articulate it, but I hate both these people, one of whom I presumably have some policy overlap and one who gleefully and publicly supports a fascist, and I don’t know quite what to do with that information. Part of it is: why are you on Watters’ show for in the first place?

Watters: Is like blind loyalty to an idiot, does that override that? Jessica: Well, you do blind loyalty to an idiot every day.
