Been chilling out in Twitch streams a lot more lately and its been nice. I think I'm closer to digging at games again as a result, sometimes a community movie night deal. Or just music. Lots to relax to. Going to twitch just now though, front page dude was just talking, but it was overstimulating.

i hate seeing people ask a question in comments on here and then someone replies with "google said: ...." fuck you. Especially when the topic was on foreign countries you know nothing about and you're just regurgitating information. fuck you.

I appreciate how much more accessible streaming is since JustinTV. My first live stream was on there in 2010 testing my capture card for like half an hour playing Ocarina of Time, and my stream had no audio. Glad to be past like XSplit too, (though that still works, OBS fuels me.)

you know. I might not do a lot of what I say I'm gonna do past my initial hyperfix toward it. But I am damn proud of my escaping streaming services and subscriptions. The only subs I've paid the last few months were either for a music course (pianowithwarren), or to individual twitch creators.

I'm entirely indifferent on Sony killing physical games but watching Jacob Navok, the genius who was behind Silent Hill: Ascension and shut his post replies off during it, fall all over himself to write novels insulting people upset about it over on Elon's Playhouse isn't shocking to see from him.

It's so cool how these fucks profit from our work to an obscene degree and then ALSO want to steal it to train the Dunning-Kruger Device with MAYBE the option to opt out. So generous of them. I hate these thieving turds.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

Now I'm having to figure out how to port my StreamLabs code to StreamElements. I was using NodeCG IO for it previously but that's very deprecated now. I really do want to break away from some public services and try and code more options and api interfaces myself though. I want to host my own stuff
