Scenes like this happen all too often. Here in Chicagoland, since May alone, ICE agents have repeatedly drawn weapons on (and otherwise threateded) locals & rapid responders. Agents have waved batons and tasers at people, crashed into occupied cars, even pointed a gun at a home with a child in it.

Video of an ICE agent pulling a gun on a wife and mother, who is a US citizen born and raised in the area, near Bailey's Crossroads in Northern Virginia yesterday. Chillingly, they claimed she “almost ran them over” until she told them she had video proving that was a lie.

Last week I spoke to Omar Compean, the 18-year-old frontman of Houston emo ska band I Hate Myself And I Want To Die. On Sunday, they played their last ever show because Omar's father was arrested by ICE and deported to Mexico. "It basically just all got ripped away from me just in an instant."
