Yesterday's temperature topped 105° in Fresno. "Carlos" and team were working in the watermelons. "Our team is paid piece rate. The more boxes we fill the more we make. The person closest to the truck has the hardest job so we switch off. This is exhausting work." #WeFeedYou

Re-sharing more art from a couple years ago, here was a Star Wars space battle render I made for ECHenry. The Republic Skipray Blastboat model is mine, the CR-70 was one of his. I made the explosion in embergen. Not perfect but came out pretty cool.

A wide image showing a space battle between red-and-white republic-painted skipray blastboats (small ships with a rotating rear wing section, and in this version with a bubble turret manned by a clone trooper), firing blue laser bolts, and a blue-painted CR-70 corvette with separatist markings (a ship similar to the blockade runner from the original Star Wars), firing orange laser bolts. Fiery explosions are going off from the sides of the CR-70.

Hello! Here's the latest from my Star Wars nonsense - I just finished up the Mon Calamari Frigate I started working on back in 2020, finally, and decided to make a quick video of it with some other ships that I'd made! 4K in the 🧵!

The circle of life is complete then, because the ship lists (specifically the list of Federation-class dreadnoughts) from the original Star Fleet Technical Manual are what inspired me to name the WC2 carrier Concordia. Gorgeous work here, btw. The TMP aesthetic will always be my favorite. 😍

Updaaaaaaaaates to my Mon Calamari Frigate... I improved the shape language of the landing bay to be more rebel-esque. I also added more cut in details to the main hull and replaced some of the auto-placed details with bespoke stuff.

Soooo, I'm back on my Star War nonsense - this time, returning to a 5 year old project to create a smaller Mon Calamari ship, thinking about frigate scale. Tons of work done since I picked this back up!

A gorgeous NCC-1701A Enterprise from the Commodore Amiga PD (Public Domain) Star Trek game designed and programmed by Tobias Richter in 1989. Tobias would go on to have a long career in Trek, working with Paramount on Trek ship CG for book and VHS covers and the ships of the line calendars.

A pixel art of an in-universe display screen with an outside view of the ship and basic stats such as dimensions, class, and name. Below it, a deckplan cutaway from the side.
