"A new bombshell report from Sen Wyden reveals that JPMorgan Chase, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America systematically failed to report Epstein’s suspicious transactions for nearly 2 decades despite knowing he was a convicted sex offender w ties to human trafficking & now Trump Admin is covering it up"

BREAKING: Bombshell report alleges the Trump Administration and CBS News have engaged in covering-up how banks and Wall Street bankrolled Epstein. United States runs out of long range missiles. Trump demands reparations. DOJ drops more reflecting pool cases. Subscribe to support my work:

Whitehouse: "The last Q I'm left with is what's left of this committee? What's left when we don't demand straight answers? How many times has this DOJ been asked what became of the $50k the FBI reported it handed to Homan? ... our Republican colleagues see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil"

Just so everyone knows, this is a tried-and-true mainstream media tactic. For progressives/leftist candidates, every election is a “crucial test” and any loss would serve as proof to the media that the latest left-side moment is at its end. Any win, though, just means it’s time to find a new test.

Michigan will provide another crucial test of whether progressives can not only keep up their winning streak in safe-blue seats but also break through in battlegrounds crucial for control of Congress. The stakes for the Democratic Party are huge.

A lot of thrashing about this, but if someone is able to reach these people and start moving them in the direction of understanding why wearing a mask is important, I can't in good conscience be mad about that. Also, if she can grab a few of their votes and fuck with big healthcare companies, bonus!

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez@ocasio-cortez.house.gov · 2d ago

There is pervasive corruption across our healthcare and agricultural systems that defy party lines. I meet with MAHA activists because a lot of their concerns are bipartisan issues that major corporations paint as partisan. The fight isn't left and right, it's top and bottom.

I am all for this as long as we close the door behind us. This is not a good way under any circumstance to run a democracy. So, if we have to brute force the fixes needed using the same tooling then we better make sure it can't be undone the same way the next time around.

Been thinking this in regards to the SAVE America Act. Most likely it fails. But if Rs get some version of a bill that looked "dead" bc the president never shuts the fuck up about it and signs EOs to kludge it until his party passes a version of it.. you'd be stupid not to copy that!

If you're a workaholic, particularly a reluctant one, which Hank Green is known to be, working in an environment that is pushing you to always be producing more content then the perceived boost in productivity, and yes the pernicious sycophancy of these systems, is a hell of a dopamine hit.

As a confirmed dopamine addict who has thrown myself off bridges and out of a plane in the past chasing some of that sweet stuff, I genuinely don't get it

Paper ballots, deportation of all immigrants and banning congressional stock trading are among the issues that unite the Republican candidates in the race for the newly-drawn 9th Congressional District while the Democrats in the race focus mostly on “kitchen table issues."

In crowded primaries for Tennessee’s 9th Congressional District, what separates the candidates? • Tennessee Lookout

A May redistricting by Tennessee Republicans opened the floodgates to candidates from from both parties in the 9th Congressional District.

First of all fuck this person. Second of all, pretty funny how us on the empathetic left can pick and choose which addictions are addicts faults or not. You all are really misdirecting your self-loathing at the wrong fucking people. Looking forward to them blowing up and fucking right off.

I swear to god, if I see people trying to shift the narrative into some kind of "it's addiction, it isn't his fault, we need to be allowing and understanding during this difficult time for him and if you aren't you're intolerant". I am going to blow up.

As someone who is deeply anti-AI and yet is forced to use it every day I am absolutely appalled at how people are treating Hank Green. These LLM's are deeply sycophantic. They will confirm your priors simply because they're your priors. Be angry at the Anthropic's and OpenAI's of the world...
