We help elect Democrats while building the most active, inclusive, and diverse party possible.

Senate Republicans unanimously killed Senator Duckworth's proposal to expand IVF coverage for military families. Trump promised to make IVF completely free. Like countless other promises, it turned out to be a complete lie. So much for being the “pro-family” party.

This is Jim Marter’s fourth time running for IL-14. Still an election denier. Still without a plan to make life more affordable. Still has not shown up for a single working family in our community. But sure. Maybe the fourth time's the charm.

Families shouldn’t have to deprive their kids of the necessities for the school year due to rising costs. We listened to parents — and the state is stepping up. Starting Friday for ten days, shoppers will pay zero state sales tax on essentials like clothing and school supplies.

Fewer Illinois residents are enrolling in SNAP after Trump’s Big Ugly Bill slashed the program. This is not a win. Families are still hungry, and with grocery prices continuing to rise, people are going to be skipping meals to make sure their kids can eat.

Illinois sees 16% drop in SNAP enrollment one year after food program overhaul

About 150,000 people have lost food assistance this year across the state because of expanded work rules. It’s less than expected, but there are signs of growing need as a central safety net program…

We are in the fifth month of the first year of Trump’s endless war with Iran. Now, he is asking for billions of taxpayer dollars to keep fighting, even as this war makes your groceries, gas, and power more expensive.

150 days since Trump launched us into war in Iran with absolutely no plan and no way out. Since then, we've lost 18 American service members and countless other lives, all while American families struggle more and more to afford gas, groceries, and healthcare.

Southern Illinois is more than fields and back roads. It’s a community of family farms, locally owned businesses, volunteer fire departments, small schools, and neighbors who still look out for one another. These communities aren’t asking for special treatment. They’re asking not to be forgotten.

On the campaign trail, Trump promised free IVF if he was elected. Nearly two years later, he still hasn’t delivered.   No more delays.  No more broken promises.  It’s time to pass the Right to IVF Act.
