Wild stuff; the Trump admin appears to be getting ready to claim that Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, shot and killed by ICE on his way to work, had multiple baggies of meth just sitting in plain view on the DASHBOARD for anyone to see. I know the truth is sometimes stranger than fiction, but COME ON.
The options here are that they’re lying and don’t even have evidence for this or that the ICE officers were driving around with baggies of meth they were then able to plant on a man they shot

Everyone is focused on trump relitigating 2020. That's the distraction. The real target is Nov. 2026. He needs a fraud narrative already baked in before midterms so he can justify whatever comes next when MAGA loses seats. Pay attention to what he's building, not what he's pretending to remember.

The upcoming Big Lie presser is meant to justify further interference because Trump/ MAGA are desperate to stay in power.
Worth mentioning: 1979 was also when Mad Max came out. There was just an amazing amount of creative ferment in Australia and New Zealand at the time.

Many years ago, when I only knew him as the guy from the Omen, I saw the movie Sleeping Dogs (1979). Set in an alternative New Zealand, it was an amazing story of a country teetering on dictatorship that was using fighter jets to missile attack its own people.
