When it all comes crashing down, governments will point out that the economy is an interconnected beast; they will then pump trillions of dollars into these companies and trillions more into the liquidity markets. Inflation will soar, but we'll have 10 more trillionaires by 2030.

can't wait to see how this alters its orbit and we get even moe royally fucked by, like, 2 degree change in temperature that just finishes off the last life worth anything on this planet.

I know we are chalking the success of some leftist candidates almost entirely to the DSA. However, it seems like the more common theme is that these are candidates with organizing experience?

From their business acumen to their philanthropic prowess they invent a lot of reasons why they need to have louder voices. They have clubs and civic working groups and they call the newspapers to make sure they have a chance to shape the political context of new policies and initiatives.

Rich people take personal service from government VERY PERSONALLY and since they barely use public services what counts as service to them is air time (or ear time) with elected leaders and powerful people.

Friends are telling me that they are re-occupying Willy St right now. This comes after police forcibly removed the protest encampment earlier today set-up at the intersection where a police officer murdered Corey Ruiz.

The internet is filled with really dumb people who right now think the fires in Spokane WA were fake because the houses burned but trees didn’t. What they’re forgetting is that dead, thin, dry wood burns. Wet, dense, living wood is harder to burn. Old living pine and house vs fire: house loses.
