A lot of people keep coming into my comment section absolutely terrified that there won’t be Midterm Elections. And I get it. We know Trump wants to destroy elections and is doing everything he can to make that possible. But our Democrats are doing SO much to mitigate that. 1/
The long term impacts of these orders are so sad. Energy costs will continue to rise and as our grid becomes less reliable, companies will find us less desirable for investment. Not to mention the $$$s spent cancelling wind and solar contracts.

Corn ethanol (~40% of all US corn) requires about 100 times more land per vehicle-mile driven than solar photovoltaics -> electric vehicles. Shifting corn to solar *would free up land*.
