Centrists and liberals consistently see radical organizing as more of a threat than the far-right (whom they try to appease/work out arrangements with) and often act accordingly. Hard not to read the escalating anti-trans drumbeat from Dems in that context.

Certainly there can be a temptation to name a range of other empiricisms to go with it, and I have always felt that people could have more to say about it, but I think it's important to recognize "white empiricism" as a structural feature built around a power structure, not individual identities

The PROTECT Act requires all internet platforms (like this one) collect model releases and government IDs for everyone in anything nude or sexual. Not just OnlyFans, but Heated Rivalry and Hunting Wives and Mapplethorpe and top surgery photos.
