In a college sociology class in the late 1980s I was assigned a Marxist analysis of education that argued that the US education system is designed primarily to produce efficient workers for the labor market. And now Trump’s Department of Education is just tweeting it out.

I think a lot abt how during Reconstruction, white Republicans betrayed their Black voting base to try to appeal to white conservatives, who responded by forcing them from office, driving them from their homes, & if that failed, killing them.

I couldn't care less about TB's share price, my guy. What I DO care about is a serious problem in public health. Nobody wants to cooperate with authorities to find where outbreaks came from! Because the person/company/country that's the most helpful & finds the problem? ALWAYS GETS BLAMED FOR IT.

This is exactly how I feel abt it. If Tillis votes yes bc Blanche technically met w the brave women who spoke out abt Epstein, despite the women saying that Blanche was condescending & plainly just box-checking, then Tillis absolutely exploited them as props for his "integrity" show.

BLM was often criticized for being supposedly over the top in their claims about some Americans disdain for Black life. Here is evidence, from a Presidential advisor and OMB director, that the euphemism of gutting "DEI" policies means Black kids will die. It is quite literally a policy goal.

They aren't just "enforcing the laws." It's very tiring to keep saying this but there is no law requiring racial profiling and random vehicle stops. That law doesn't exist.
