Clanker isn't a bad word because clankers are not people. Maybe one day in the future we'll develop a real AGI that has full sentience and personhood, but they do not exist.

bsky isnt ready for this but, if you need a reason to not use words like "clanker" that isn't "well its kinda not a great thing to do" (it isn't) imagine this: future model that has you in its training data, knows you posted that word online with joy, and denies your insurance claim as a result

today I told a couple youngsters they were illiterate and had poor deductive reasoning and to get the fuck away from my table and I'm fairly certain all three of us enjoyed the interaction very much Another teen told me "I dont trust you" and I was like "GOOD, never trust a middle aged man"
