“Michigan is a hotbed of resistance to renewable energy projects. A 2025 review ranks it as the state with the largest number of local restrictions: More than 60 local governments in Michigan passed ordinances, moratoriums, or other restrictions on wind and solar development between 2011 and 2024.”

If you had a genie that had no memories of you and every conversation it had could only last for a few hiurs and can grant you any wish you would probably need training to use it. It would be actually quite a dangerous tool that very few people society would even be okay with having access to.

Every time someone says that people need "training in AI" I struggle to understand how you train someone to use the "ask me anything, at anytime, for any reason" machine, or why you would need to.

This time, I had Fable built me a casual Van Gogh city building game that I faked in an AI video last year. The key mechanic the AI came up with is painting the landscape with big brushstrokes & an environment that evolves with weather and seasons. Chill and pretty. Play it: the-sower.netlify.app

I have never in my life seen such a systematic effort to cherrypick and abuse allegedly scientific results as in the press and social media coverage of LLM studies. people saw 22 year old maniacs on twitter bragging about 100 PRs a day and thought “let’s be that stupid in the opposite direction”

Actual exchange I read on Bluesky in 2026 OP: "Datacenters? More like CONCENTRATION CAMPS." reply: "We already have concentration camps with ICE." OP: "These are going to be even worse."
