City staff were briefing Council on the progress of the Villages Plan for months leading up to the public hearing, so it's ridiculous for ABC to blame this on staff.

This is ABC. Push staff to meet a deadline they impose, throw them under the bus when the plan comes under scrutiny, and then blame staff to their big money backers. We must do better.

@onecityvan.bsky.social's Youth Jobs Vancouver policy wouldn't only benefit our youth. It would have broader benefits for our residents and community organizations. Here's an example of how that can happen.

My heart is full from all the words and support and encouragement I received last night at our art-making event! A big thank you to everyone who showed up and for asking such engaging questions. I couldn't have imagined a better event, and I think everyone left feeling more hopeful and more joyful!

We've asked Ken Sim for a response to this, along with a question as to why he said in a statement that Lenny Zhou was "taking responsibility for sharing information that was not accurate." I'll let you know when or if we hear back.
