Vancouver has some of the worst air quality in the world right now. So today, we're announcing the Cool, Clean Air, and Safe Spaces Strategy. One standard, applied to every school, every library, every community centre in Vancouver, whether it's run by Council, Park Board, or School Board. 🧵 1/11

OneCity Vancouver City Council Candidate. Urban planner, community leader, small business owner, and a mom. All views expressed are my own.
City staff were briefing Council on the progress of the Villages Plan for months leading up to the public hearing, so it's ridiculous for ABC to blame this on staff.
This is ABC. Push staff to meet a deadline they impose, throw them under the bus when the plan comes under scrutiny, and then blame staff to their big money backers. We must do better.
@onecityvan.bsky.social's Youth Jobs Vancouver policy wouldn't only benefit our youth. It would have broader benefits for our residents and community organizations. Here's an example of how that can happen.
I'm excited to be running alongside @wazaroff.bsky.social who's been endorsed by VDLC to be their mayoral candidate of choice! William and our entire @onecityvan.bsky.social team are focused on ensuring all Vancouver residents get the support they need and deserve to live and thrive in this city.
I'm honoured to be nominated to be a @onecityvan.bsky.social City Council candidate for this year's municipal election! A huge thank you to all those who supported me over the past 5+ months. I couldn't have done this without you. And thank you to all of the nominees. You are all amazing people!
OneCity members, it's time to vote! We're asking you to rank all four OneCity Builders - me, @fabulavancouver.bsky.social, Jarrett Hagglund, and Mike Tan - at the top of your ballot. Check your email for voting instructions! 🗳️ It takes just two minutes to make your voice heard.
Voting for @onecityvancouver candidates starts today! I believe the OneCity Builders team, which includes me, @jagglund.bsky.social, @fabulavancouver.bsky.social, and Mike Tan, has what it takes to deliver real results for the city. Please rank us at the top of your ballot!
Thanks to everyone who tuned in to last night’s @onecityvan.bsky.social all-candidates debate. And a big thank you to @willshelling.bsky.social for chairing, and to Emily Gorham, Alison Atkinson, and Flossie Baker for hosting and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Proud to have the support of Maria Fe Infante. With more than three decades as a healthcare worker and labour leader, Maria has helped lead some of the most important fights for workers and immigrant communities in this province. Her support reflects the kind of leadership we believe in.
I, alongside Mike Tan, @jagglund.bsky.social, and @fabulavancouver.bsky.social, am very excited to be endorsed by former Mayor of Vancouver and Premier of BC Mike Harcourt to be a @onecityvan.bsky.social Council candidate! I have long admired his work in championing urbanist and social issues.
Proud to be running as part of the OneCity Builders. With the Progressive Victory Agreement in place, building a strong, aligned team matters more than ever.
Big news. OneCity, COPE, and the Greens have signed a Progressive Unity Agreement. We did the hard work, and we got it done. Here's what it means and why it matters.
It's been reported that rates of A Broken City Syndrome have been increasing over the last four years in Vancouver. The antidote - a @onecityvan.bsky.social membership! Sign up by tomorrow using this link to vote in the upcoming OneCity nomination race: www.onecityvancouver.ca/iona_bonamis...

I led a tour of South Van on Sat with @prabhi.bsky.social and it was so much fun! Here are some of the places that we visited that make this neighbourhood so special and welcoming for many people of diverse backgrounds.
@reddyforchange.bsky.social is a force to be reckoned with. Despite the many barriers other #VSB trustees have put up, she's continued to stand strong and fight for students & families' voices to be heard. I'm honoured to be endorsed by her to be a @onecityvan.bsky.social Council candidate!
ICYMI - here's a snippet of a Fairchild Radio interview I did this past weekend about Lenny Zhou and Ken Sim's accusations towards non-ABC Councillors without fact-checking.
My heart is full from all the words and support and encouragement I received last night at our art-making event! A big thank you to everyone who showed up and for asking such engaging questions. I couldn't have imagined a better event, and I think everyone left feeling more hopeful and more joyful!
We've asked Ken Sim for a response to this, along with a question as to why he said in a statement that Lenny Zhou was "taking responsibility for sharing information that was not accurate." I'll let you know when or if we hear back.
Today, we learned the misinformation Councillor Lenny Zhou cited in the WeChat video, which was the topic of the February 24th press conference, may have originated from Mayor Ken Sim himself during a roundtable with Chinese-language media earlier this month: www.singtao.ca/7411154/2026...
On Mar 14, join me on a neighbourhood walking tour of South Vancouver! We’ll be exploring what makes South Vancouver unique and a welcoming place for many, and how it can be even better with more services and infrastructure to support the community. Register @ simpli.events/e/south-vanc...
My response to ABC Councilor Lenny Zhou making serious, false, and malicious accusations about the four non-ABC councillors, including @lucymaloney.bsky.social of @onecityvan.bsky.social, on his civic matters short video series targeted at the Chinese community. (中文翻譯請見下帖)
Ken Sim won’t be defeated by posts, polls, or prayers. He’ll be defeated in a vote. That takes conviction in a single progressive candidate who can unify this city. (1/3)
What an exhilarating night! @onecityvan.bsky.social just had our largest AGM ever and we nominated our first Mayoral candidate! Congratulations to @wazaroff.bsky.social for winning the OneCity Mayoral nomination and thank you for tonight's inspiring speech!

Had a blast last night watching the @onecityvan.bsky.social mayoral candidates debate at the @cupescfp.bsky.social office! Both Amanda Burrows and @wazaroff.bsky.social did really well answering the questions. Can't wait to see who our mayoral candidate will be on Feb. 11th!

Fundraising drop from @onecityvan.bsky.social on IG 👀 That's 200k in four months - or 50k per month. Without any candidates locked in & fundraising like mad. Those are ABC numbers
