UPS woke me up at 6am-ish singing the song of its people. Back 2 hours later. Off again about 3 hours later. Between outages I got a Ali delivery including some USB - 20v and 12v cables. As there’s no Fortnite to interrupt, decided to swap 12v networking gear from wall-warts to USB. Seems to work.

several of you have been asking for an update on "we count numbers consecutively in an irc channel" and i'm pleased to announce someone made the effort to draw a graph
terrible news: the irc channel where a bunch of us are counting up numbers consecutively has had to restart from one, as two people said "530" at the same time

Neighbour over the back fence has pretty fine taste in music. Currently almost non stop Nick Cave, with some Joy Division thrown in.
btw i think the reason i like magical sigils and worlds based around them is because magical sigils are actually real. you open up a satellite LNB and what you find is shapes wrought from metal to manipulate unseen forces. you can't tell me they're not magical sigils
this line probably works better in japanese than it does in english huh. though i guess "magic isn't something you cast, it's something you draw" is still fine but in japanese "kakeru" (here: 'to cast') and "kaku" (here: 'to draw') are off by one syllable

I googled "The Cool S on C-64" and got nothing. Galaxy tried to AI-splain to me there is no connection between Cool S and C-64. Image search brought up random C-64 blue screens. So here it is. The Cool S PETSCII. I even shaded it ANSi-style and made two versions.
