To date, two different people have contacted me with concerns about the authenticity of those emails, which is none. Spanish authorities are already aware of the problem. I can only offer my most sincere regrets for this unfortunate issue, and hope that no one falls prey to whoever is doing this.

The impersonator contacts a writer, tells them how much I like their work, and offers them my services as a translator promising them to help with bringing their book to a wider audience. In order to do so, the impersonator creates email addresses under different permutations of my name.
