Completely agree. The Arday stuff is mind-boggling enough but for ACTUAL academics to go ON THE RECORD saying that plagiarism / fabrication / ignoring of ethic protocols “is fine really” is such a massive two fingers to professional standards that their employers should be very worried / vigilant
“Jason Arday has serious questions to answer” and “There is a racist campaign against Jason Arday” can both simultaneously be true.
Gotta love the incompetence here, especially with (3).

Trans people who lie sick, injured or maybe even dying deserve the same treatment as any cis person of their gender. This is an outrage to human dignity, and yet another moment of intense shame for the Labour Party in their crusade against trans people.

Rather concerningly, the lawyer for the Tate brothers has confused “extradition” with “execution”. Young lawyers note - be careful not to do this in court.
I have enormous sympathy with people angry that the political vandalism of our prison system is forcing the (even earlier) release of prisoners. It is a scandal. But deciding who does and does not get released on the basis of the volume of public outcry at their crime is the road to madness.
