Everyone who wants to push generative AI in teaching because it allegedly speeds up the learning process, should be forced to eat microwaved steak for a year. Time is often what ensures a good outcome, especially in teaching.

Why would doing things in "a fraction of the time" is usually takes be a good thing? Why do we so disrespect the labor of teaching and learning as to wish it away by outsourcing it to something that cannot think?
