Today I walked into work wearing my prescription sunglasses, forgetting entirely to bring my regular glasses. Thus all day I have been sat at the front desk, indoors, wearing sunglasses so I can see, and looking absolutely deranged 👍

Even if we accept the financial reasoning (questionable), I fail to see how tanking our international reputation and getting rid of world-leading researchers can have anything other than a crushing financial impact in the long run. If we let this happen, the only result will be more cuts later.
