The framing that women’s rights are “minority rights” is especially revealing. Women are 51% of the US population. We’re not a minority. What women share with actual minorities is the idea that women are not fit to be full members of the political community.

When you hear of an incident between foreign countries, a good rule of thumb is to start with it likely has local causes. Spain and Morocco have their own shit. It’s not a dastardly (((globalist))) plot to make Europe less aryan, nor a dastardly Zionist plot to get Spain back for verbal criticism.

I disagree. Le Pen hasn’t instigated a coup d’état. Meloni does not have track record of openly racist remarks. And Orbán accepted his electoral defeat. Not to say that Europeans would no longer vote for these leaders if they did, but we simply don’t know yet. Trump is much more extremist!

The interesting thing about school closures during covid (agree with them or not) is they had much less impact on long-term academic outcomes than people expected (me included). But much more long-term impact on mental health and attendance.
