What I want for trans + people in the UK. The puberty blocker ban lifted. The toilet ban scrapped. Supreme Court ruling overtuned/made ineffective. An informed consent model for gender affirming care. Self ID. Non-Binary people legaly recognised. No trans + censorship in schools.

Reality check: "Women's hard won rights": - did NOT include defining women by biology, the slogan was "biology is not destiny!" - did NOT seek sex segregation, they fought for inclusion of women - did NOT advocate "sex-based rights", they fought AGAINST that and FOR equality regardless of sex

Indeed. Amnesty caused more harm to trans people issuing then walking back this report than if they'd done nothing at all. Well-meaning orgs unaware of the risks from clumsily advocating for trans rights need to be involving trans people from the outset. Otherwise they'll keep making matters worse.

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.
