Loss of inhibition filters for sexual comments and behavior in socially inappropriate contexts can be a sign of either alcohol consumption or dementia, and heโs a teetotaler.
Trump on Ossoff: "I don't think he's a good looking man. I actually think Mike Collins is a good looking man. And he's all man. I'm not sure about Ossoff. And I think Rick Jackson is a beautiful-looking guy."
some people can do Locktober longer than be a Trump press secretary
Greatest piece of campaign literature of all time?
"Deaths in ICE custody are now at their highest level in more than two decades. In 2025, at least 32 people died in ICE custody, and 2026 is on pace to surpass that, with more than two dozen deaths by mid-September."

The question is how far he'll get, not if he'll try.
Trump goads his audience into chanting "four more years!" and then says, "I'd love to"
Does Ken not know that, in fact, The Alamo was taken?
Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton plans to hit over 30 stops across Texas in his 18-day bus tour, concluding with a stop at the Alamo on the eve of Election Day.
tbh not great for us that America's two gayest presidents are also its two worst ones
Trump on Jon Husted: "I don't do this with men very often. I started examining his body, because I didn't know he was a great athlete ... I looked at his ass"

One year ago today, we had to say goodbye to TJ. I hate that we had to say goodbye way too soon. But the years you gave us were the best.
A rogue executive going after the citizenship and thus eligibility of a duly elected member of Congress, an attempt to usurp the House's fundamental constitutional power to decide who its own members are, is dangerous in a way that exceeds even the possibility of bogus trumped up criminal charges.
Having the whole thing blow up in their faces like this is worth more to Talarico than bothering with a lawsuit would be. He'd have a genuinely hard time showing damages for one thing, but more generally, defamation litigation is a massive pain in the ass and very rarely worth your time and effort.
POV you point out Democrats aren't as bad as Republicans
Pretty obvious MAGA and the influencers are trying to push this whole "Ukraine is the problem" narrative full throated now ... I hate calling something a distraction (because an admin can do many bad things at once!) but this sure looks like a late attempt to distract and blame shift.
It's already illegal. Congress banned it near-unanimously in 2022. That law allows the ban to be lifted only if Russia withdraws from Ukraine. He's simply breaking the law that's already on the books.
Republican US Rep Brian Fitzgerald tweets that he will introduce a bill to block purchases of Russian oil. Don Bacon (R-Neb) tweets that he will co-sponsor. Obviously this wonโt happen during campaigning recess (and Trump could veto anyway) but interesting push-back on Trump.
Lol nothing gets you more blocks here than pointing out Dems are objectively better than Republicans
of course they never cared about Pride, but the world in which they pretend to care is vastly better than the one in which they don't pretend and we are seeing it in real time we want the money to think there's more profit in being performatively woke than performatively bigoted
I mean no disrespect but I can't believe we're still pretending "corporations never cared about Pride" is an interesting thing to say. even during peak corp Pride I think you had to be exceptionally dim to not get what was going on lol like yeah I think I know Chipotle would kill me for a nickel
That would mean acknowledging Biden did very good and praiseworthy things as president which, per Intercept editorial policy, is cringe and lame, which is what's driving Segura here.
Don't ask Russian assets questions I guess ... Their husbands will be mad at you
