My favorite part is when we sent dozens of ICBMs over Russia after North Korea nuked us instead of using SLBMs or B-2s, gave Moscow a phone call after we launched the nukes to explain the situation and the Russians were like "lol. Too late, buddy."

I was in fact in a farmer meeting at that very moment! So I live-texted him the meeting. They were complaining that they want indentured workers that they don't have to pay or feed.

I know it’s a bit passé to talk about “why don’t politicians crack down on people not using headphones on the bus” but I think we do need to reckon with platforms that incentivise people to completely disregard the norms of civil society and get away with it.
