When you see the story about how the world now has its first trillionaire, and when you see the story about how laboratories in Congo have run out of supplies to test for Ebola, it is important to understand that in many ways these are the same story.

Prospect is calling on the Government to leave X following ongoing political interference and the promotion of far-right content on the platform. Civil servants and communications workers should not have to read racist content while trying to do their jobs and communicate with the public.

there were already many reasons to do this but Elon Musk actively encouraging racist violence in Belfast should be the final straw for every UK government institution to stop doing business - including being on X - with him in any way, and for him to be barred from entry to the country.

In a detail which will surprise no one, the first of the "patriots" to plead guilty to offences connected to the rioting in Southampton on Tuesday night has a criminal record as long as your arm, including.... possessing a knife.

The court was told that Frost had previously received 25 convictions for 55 offences, including an offence against the person in 2001, four public disorder offences between 2006 and 2011, offences of failing to surrender in 1999 and 2008, possession of a bladed article in 2009 and threatening and abusive behaviour in 2010 and 2011.

Good data is essential for policy. Today it’s been a year since we had a permanent National Statistician. No news on what is happening with the current recruitment which began Oct 2025. This is an under the bonnet issue that points to state failure 🧵 uksa.statisticsauthority.gov.uk/news/stateme...

The smell of BS in the morning…. Farage is clearly very worried about this £5m bung from Harborne. And rightly so - British voters really don’t like big money in politics, Reform voters as much as anyone So Farage is trying everything to distract from the crypto bros bankrolling Reform.

This looks like bullshit stenography to me. Glen Owen also ‘reported’ Farage’s lies about French police & a monoglot mechanic ‘telling him’ his car had been ‘tampered with’ in an ‘assassination attempt’ when he was trying to distract attention from something else. Also, Putin *wants* him to be PM!

Mail on Sunday unquestioningly reporting Nigel Farage’s claim that his phone was hacked by Russian agents. Just as they did his lies about French police telling him he’d been the victim of an assassination attempt. It’s even written by the same journalist.

BREAKING: Reform UK leader Nigel Farage bought a £1.4 million property in cash shortly after receiving a £5m personal gift from billionaire donor Christopher Harborne, according to property records seen by Sky News.

Anyone still questioning why Farage's Reform did so well? The majority of the British public have no idea how politics work in this country, they listen to our press and its lies and believe every word. If there is to be real change we have to take on our media.
